Lee Iacocca: “Bas Boon is a True Leader in the Fight Sports”! The picture above is of Bas Boon at the house of Lee Iacocca. The American automobile executive is best known for spearheading the development of Ford Mustang and Pinto cars while at the Ford Motor Company in the 1960s. Later he gets credit for reviving the Chrysler Corporation as its C.E.O. during the 1980s again. I still drive a Ford pickup today.

He served as President and C.E.O. of Chrysler from 1978 and additionally as chairman from 1979 until his retirement at the end of 1992. This picture above is in Bel-Air, California, where he signed his book for me, “Where have all the leaders gone” to me, a must-have for all entrepreneurs!
I want to thank Vic Assad and Frederico Lapenda for introducing me to this iconic entrepreneur. Lee Iaccoca is a non nonsense guy. In his book, he explains in great detail why he admired the Japanese model.
I think it might be good that lee passed away in July 2019 (R.I.P.) as he would not have understood the insanity of social Marxism taking over the world. It plunges our progress back to the stone age. He was a great leader.

One of the reasons we imminently were getting along was our mutual interest and admiration of Japan. I would tell him stories about my business dealing with them, and he loved it. I am not a mind reader. But the talks I had with this icon make me believe that what I think is accurate. Now would be a good time to reread Lee’s book and see how much of a visionary Lee IacoccaBas Boon was.
There was a time in history this great man almost became the president of the United States. This man complimented me and said I was a true leader in Fight Sports. That coming from a man like him made me honored.
